Border area with Thailand: French diplomatic authorities warn against travelling in the Mom Bei area and around the Ta Moan and Ta Krabey temples

In a message published on 10 June, French diplomatic authorities advised against travel to the tourist area of Mom Bei (Preah Vihear province), as well as in the areas around the temples of Ta Moan and Ta Krabey (province d’Oddar Meanchey).

This warning comes against the backdrop of military tensions linked to the territorial dispute between Cambodia and Thailand (see our previous alerts). The two sides are due to meet on 14 June to try to find a peaceful solution to the dispute.
