Sécurité Sans Frontières publishes its monthly report on the main countries at risk
During the month of August 2010 Sécurité Sans Frontières broadcast a total of 622 security warnings on all types of different risks in 110 countries. 546 of these warnings (not including health, meteorological and environmental risks) dealt with subjects, which can, at varying degrees, affect travellers’ security but also operations, goods and personnel of companies working internationally.
From this database Sécurité Sans Frontières has etablished for August 2010 a list of 12 countries where the level of risk has been particularly high (not including certain countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia). These 12 countries account for 245 security warnings, which represents 39.4% of all warnings broadcast by Sécurité Sans Frontières through out the month and 44.9% of warnings that only concern risks likely to directly affect travellers or expatriated personnel.
