Print this page
Having signed the UN Global Compact for businesses, Sécurité Sans Frontières is fully committed, along with all of our subcontractors and partners, to respecting and upholding the principles set forth in the following charter:

Independence
SSF is a privately owned company independent of any state entity. This independence gives us the right to refuse to participate in any activity that does not comply with the provisions set forth in this chart of ethics.

Legalism
With the aim of reminding everyone that security means, above all, prevention, and in accordance with the international convention against mercenary activities, SSF wholly commits itself to respecting international and domestic laws applicable in the countries in which it operates and to fully cooperating with the local authorities.

Responsibility
SSF is devoted to being a truly responsible company, to respecting Human Rights as well as Labor and Employment laws and regulations, to fostering sustainable development and to emphasizing the value of human capital.
In this regard, SSF also makes sure that the people and/or the companies for and with which we work, do not violate Human Rights or Labor/Employment laws.
This commitment implies providing employees with proper training as well as safe and healthy working conditions, and, of course, to recruiting staff solely on objective criteria regarding their professional aptitudes and moral values.

Transparency
Based on the practices and principles of sound management in handling sensitive information, SSF is thoroughly committed to disclosing reliable information both within and outside the company.
Furthermore, SSF is an official company and is clearly identified as such both in France and in all of the countries where it operates.

Reliability
SSF will hire only competent and reliable employees with proper training and a full understanding of the company’s policies and commitments.

Confidentiality
Due to the very nature of its expertise and services, SSF gathers and deals with confidential and/or sensitive information regarding its partner companies. SSF recognizes that all such information remains the client’s exclusive property and all of our employees understand that none of it can ever be divulged to any third parties.

Evaluation
Based on the nine principles of the UN Global Compact, Sécurité Sans Frontières designs tools for its clients or any other physical or legal entities to monitor and evaluate “best practices” for their subsidiaries, partners and/or subcontractors.
